They are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Management Accountant to join the finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, helping them make informed decisions to support the growth and profitability of their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Analyse financial data and performance to provide insights and recommendations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring cost control and profitability.
• Collaborate with project managers and other teams to analyse project financials.
• Prepare and review financial reports, variance analysis, and KPIs.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Support in financial audits and compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using financial software and tools, including Power BI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of construction cost accounting is a plus.
