HireIQ is delighted to be partnering with a Belfast powerhouse as they recruit for a management accountant. The Management Accountant will support the continued growth of the business – is responsible for preparing financial and management reporting on project costs, capital expenditure and software costs of the company to provide information and reports to senior management.

About the job

• Responsible for reporting requirements across the company.
• Working with Project Managers monthly to discuss the status of projects to ensure appropriate financial reporting,
• Integration of newly acquired business from a reporting perspective.
• Preparing short and long-term forecasts liaising with IT and Finance
• Consistently improving performance reporting.
• Providing reports against weekly and monthly financial reporting and targets against budget.
• Development of clear cash flow reporting and analysis for the business.
• Working with internal teams to investigate any unexpected or unusual trends.
• Leading the budget and re-forecast process for the division
• Other ad-hoc project work as and when required

Your skills and experience 

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Able to deliver consistently to a high standard.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Able to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
