35 HOUR WEEK – MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – NEWRY

About the client

This is an exciting, once in a lifetime role for someone who wants to be a part of something cool and innovative. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager and have oversight of the day-to-day running of the finance functions within the department.

About the role – what you’ll do

• Responsible for month end close processes including
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly P&L reviews and variance analysis
• Preparation monthly consolidated accounts pack
• Oversea timely preparation of monthly accounts
• Review work of junior members within the team
• Assisting departmental cost reporting
• Statutory audit preparation
• Experience with ERP Accounts Packages
• Experience with group accounts and consolidations
• Ability to work to a high level of accuracy/excellent attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills and general accountancy acumen

Your skills and experience 

Essential;

• At least 1 year PQE Qualified Accountant with membership of a professional body, e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Proficient in the use of MS office, especially Excel

Preferrable;

• Experience with ERP Accounts Packages
• Experience with group accounts and consolidations
• Ability to work to a high level of accuracy/excellent attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills and general accountancy acumen
