About the Job

Opportunity for a Graduate/Junior Accounts Individual who is looking to gain exposure in Finance and Accounts in a progressive company who is offering development opportunities and career progression.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting in credit control and debt collection.
  • Issuing of sales invoices and statements.
  • Managing returns and issuing of credit notes.
  • Set up new customers accounts on sage, credit check new customers, Vision Net & Allianz portal management.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Support month-end and year-end process, meeting department deadlines.
  • Supplier invoice processing, payments and reconciliations.
  • Meeting department deadlines.
  • Assisting in completion of the internal month end sales reports.
  • Ad hoc reports and tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Supporting other departments, providing information and reports whenever required
  • Deal with customer/supplier queries.
  • Covering holidays and general office administration to include filing, printing, reporting and emailing.
  • Knowledge of office, word, excel and sage or other accounting package
  • Account Technician qualification is preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per year

  • D-24: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Leaving Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

  • Finance or business (preferred)
  • Working in an accounts department (preferred)
