Head of Finance

Job Description;

• To oversee the organisation’s financial strategy and management,
• Making sure that the company remains financially healthy
• Overseeing our financial control and reporting systems
• Managing budgets, long-term forecasts, management and annual accounts
• Providing expert leadership – identify and mitigate risks or inefficiencies
• Oversee all VAT, CIS, PAYE processes and returns
• Manage the Asset Register
• Manage the payroll functions and accounts payable on Sage
• Process the sales and purchase ledger

About You;

• To be a CIMA or ACA (or experience equivalent) fully qualified accountant
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position
• Demonstrable experience of financial planning in a commercial environment
• Experience of working with other business support functions to deliver company growth
• Experience of developing and implementing financial strategies
• Knowledge of financial approaches to deliver the greatest commercial gain
• A strong understanding of all relevant legislation
• Commercial acumen
• Excellent risk management and cost control skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• A third-level degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
