As the ‘number one in finance’, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of this organisation. You will work closely with the executive team to drive financial performance, ensure fiscal responsibility, and support our long-term growth objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the finance function within a family-oriented, successful manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Manage financial risk by implementing effective controls and risk management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
  • Drive cost-efficiency initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support decision-making through financial analysis.
  • Monitor and report on key financial performance metrics to track progress toward goals.
  • Prepare financial presentations for board meetings and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant or strong qualified by experience candidate
  • 1-2 years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing or related industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and a track record of strategic financial management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation.
