Group Tax Specialist

You will join a dedicated Group Tax Team offering you exposure to various tax heads whilst not needing previous experience. This is an opportunity for a practice trained tax professional to take their first step into industry within an employer that values work life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing, coordinating, and reviewing key tax returns (e.g., VAT, DIRT, Stamp Duty, Corporation Tax) and related payments.
• Ensure all tax issues are resolved promptly and efficiently, meeting internal and external deadlines.
• Provide tax advice to business units across the Group.
• Support property-specific tax queries
• Identify and execute improvements in quality, efficiency, and timeliness within the Group Tax team.
• Manage and develop the Group Tax trainee.

Essential:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and/or CTA qualified.

Minimum 4 years experience in a tax environment (practice or industry).

Excellent written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
