Group Accountant

About the Job

HireIQ Senior Finance is currently working with a strongly established company based in Greater Belfast to appoint a Group Accountant to their finance function. This role will work directly with the CFO and have a strong input to operational decision-making. Excellent opportunity to get working with a market-leading company.

Job Duties 
Duties for this role include, however, are not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts for all group companies
• Co-ordination of the annual statutory audits for all group companies, including preparation, review and filing of annual financial statements in accordance with FRS 102
• Management of the financial control environment ensuring that processes are efficient and effective;
• Preparation and management of monthly, quarterly and annual multi-currency consolidation
• Preparation of consolidated budgets for the Group & cashflow forecasting
• Liaising with tax auditors
• Presenting and reporting financial information to the board
• Assist with the Due Diligence process of potential acquisitions as and when required
• Other ad-hoc general finance duties

Your skills and experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ CIMA / ACCA)
• Previous manufacturing experience (Desirable)
• Strong training background
• Strong commercial awareness
• Strong IT skills
• Good communication skills
