We are seeking an experienced and dynamic FP&A Manager with a strong focus on PowerBI and Oracle software proficiency to lead this finance department. In this strategic role, you will oversee the financial planning and analysis activities, partnering closely with cross-functional teams, executive leadership, and stakeholders to drive business performance. As an expert in PowerBI and Oracle software, you will leverage your analytical skills to provide valuable insights and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead in the FP&A function alongside Head of FP&A by developing and implementing financial planning processes, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
• Design and maintain sophisticated financial models, leveraging PowerBI and Oracle software, to enable accurate and insightful reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with business leaders to analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to drive revenue growth, cost optimisation, and profitability.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and key business drivers, to executive management and stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyse key financial metrics, highlighting areas of improvement and potential risks or opportunities.
• Support the strategic planning process by providing financial insights, assisting in setting financial targets, and evaluating business initiatives.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in FP&A, PowerBI, and Oracle software, recommending and implementing enhancements to optimise financial reporting and analysis.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, FCCA) or a very strong QBE with a proven FP&A background
• Proven experience as an FP&A Manager or similar role
• Expertise in PowerBI and Oracle software, with the ability to leverage these tools to deliver robust financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis methodologies, budgeting processes, and forecasting techniques.
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting principles and experience collaborating with accounting teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to effectively convey complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
