Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough financial analysis, examining and reporting on financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Reviewing and critically evaluating countries’ financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the annual budget and strategic planning process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to consolidate data, perform analysis, and deliver presentations to senior management.
  • Building strong alliances with Operational and Finance leadership teams to foster effective communication, understand current business operations, and seamlessly integrate key planning processes.
  • Assisting in the monthly forecast process, consolidating information from various sources, and gaining a deep understanding of business risks and opportunities.
  • Providing support during the financial closing process, and conducting ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Contributing to the design, creation, and implementation of reporting tools that enhance the analysis of subsidiaries’ performance.
  • Driving continuous improvements and automation efforts, streamlining data consolidation and planning systems.
  • Delivering in-depth analysis and insights for quarterly earnings calls and providing guidance on earnings.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A degree in Finance, with a preference for candidates who are qualified with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including a solid understanding of GAAP, allow you to derive meaningful insights from financial data.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles, with advanced knowledge of best practices and techniques.
  • Some exposure to international business operations is desired.
  • The ability to effectively communicate quantitative reports and qualitative summaries of business risks and opportunities to senior management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build consensus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a strong work ethic to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solid analytical and reasoning abilities to manage company-wide forecasting and budgeting processes in a global environment.
