Financial Reporting Analyst – Newry 

In this pivotal role, you will play an essential role in the company’s financial operations, ensuring precise cost allocations, crafting comprehensive reports, optimizing inventory management, performing budget analysis, and proactively managing financial risks. You will also take charge of various technical accounting tasks, including overseeing management accounts, collaborating with auditors, handling tax matters, overseeing payroll, and conducting reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cost analysis to guarantee precise cost allocation for products and projects.
  • Create comprehensive financial reports and deliver valuable insights to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Efficiently oversee and optimize inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Perform budget analysis, track variances, and provide recommendations to enhance cost control.
  • Supervise technical accounting functions, including management accounts, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with auditors to ensure smooth and successful audit processes.
  • Manage tax returns, oversee payroll processing, and conduct financial reconciliations.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills to streamline financial processes and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, cost analysis, and budget analysis, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Profound knowledge of technical accounting processes, management accounts, and tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with risk management and compliance protocols.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel and competence in financial software.
  • Prior experience in auditing would be advantageous.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience candidates will be considered.
