About the potential next-step
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified accountant to join a Financial Services Companies Financial Planning and Analysis team in Dublin. The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning and analysis needs of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information and prepare financial analysis
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a financial services or consulting firm
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Financial services industry experience is a plus
