About the job:
- Take full ownership of the finance function, driving accuracy, efficiency, and robust financial controls
- Partner with the sales team on pricing and customer packages, ensuring commercial viability
- Set and monitor performance against KPIs, providing clear insight to support business performance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modelling to support decision-making
- Deliver timely, insightful monthly management accounts and statutory reporting
- Lead, develop, and mentor a small finance team, building capability and accountability
- Manage key external relationships, including banking, insurance, and professional advisors
- Oversee R&D tax credits and identify opportunities to maximise available funding and grants
- Manage the year-end audit process and ensure full compliance across VAT, PAYE, payroll, and statutory returns
About you:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Proven financial leadership experience with strong reporting expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while managing complex stakeholder relationships.
