This is a great opportunity for an experienced financial controller/manager to join a multinational FMCG company in Ireland.
About the Job
- Partner closely with the site director and Business Unit Management on projects that could affect site performance.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute strategies aimed at continuous improvement and cost savings.
- Perform reconciliation and auditing of financial control data, delivering precise information to internal site departments, BU management, and group management, while adhering to all reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate with the Management team regarding the financial implications of all commercial and operational activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails to comply with all statutory, internal, and external audit requirements.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of accounting reports.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Stay updated on the company’s accounting and control methodologies and implement relevant processes and governance.
Your skills & experience
• Fully Qualified Accountant(e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA)
• Experience in Manufacturing/ FMCG
• Management experience required
• System Implementation experience is a plus
