About the company: 

HireIQ is delighted to be working with another highly respected company in the Monaghan area. This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially focused Financial Controller to join this close-knit finance team. Reporting to the CFO, our client requires an experienced Senior Finance Professional to manage the day-to-day of their finance function, playing a hands-on role within the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the accounting team, ensuring all financial activities are performed accurately and timely.
  • Ownership and review of weekly management accounts and operational performance
  • Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for senior management
  • Ownership of Budget and forecasting process
  • Management of the yearly financial audit
  • Business partnering and driving continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Experience in financial management and budget/forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
