About the company
The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing and developing the existing finance team, reporting to the FD. Perfect opportunity for an ambitious Company Accountant or Finance Manager who is seeking to take the next step in their career.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and develop the finance team
- Preparation of the monthly management pack
- Implementing and monitoring relevant KPIs
- Driving continuous improvement
- Cashflow management
- Tax compliance
- Liaising with relevant external stakeholders
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in an industry environment
- Experience of managing a team
- Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Construction experience is beneficial but not essential
