About the company:
This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially focused Financial Controller to join their close-knit finance team. Reporting to the directors, our client requires an experienced Senior Finance Professional to manage the day-to-day of their finance function, playing a hands-on role within this business.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly presentation of Management Accounts
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the budgeting process, ensuring budgets are developed and managed effectively.
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to senior management to improve financial performance.
- Assist in group cash flow to optimise financial performance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage external relationships with external auditors
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA – QBE considered with relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
