About the company: 

This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially focused Financial Controller to join their close-knit finance team. Reporting to the Group FC, our client requires an experienced Senior Finance Professional to manage the day-to-day of their finance function, playing a hands-on role within the business.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly presentation of Management Accounts to Senior Management
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage the budgeting process, ensuring budgets are developed and managed effectively.
• Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to senior management to improve financial performance.
• Assist in group cash flow  to optimise financial performance
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Manage external relationships with external auditors

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA – QBE considered with relevant experience
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller position
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
