About the company
A local business in the Ballymena area who are a true success story are seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to oversee the day-to-day management of their finance function. This role reports to the Managing Director and will oversee an existing team of finance and administration staff. Market leading salary package as well as a 4-day working week on offer!
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
- Oversee and develop the finance team
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- Liaise with external stakeholders including Banks, HMRC, Auditors and Invest NI
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the MD
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
