HireIQ are partnering with a reputable SME to appoint a commercially focused Financial Controller to their close knit finance team. Reporting into the FD, our client require a strong all-round Accountant to join their team and manage the day-to-day finance function.
About the job
- Preparation of periodic Management Accounts
- Preparation of weekly Profit & Loss Reports
- Margin analysis & cost variance analysis
- Management of day-to-day financial activities
- Review and control of Balance Sheet; Key control accounts, Intercompany accounts, etc
- Overseeing a small finance team
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Develop, enhance and suggest improvements for business wide processes
- Other general ad-hoc finance duties
Your skills and experience
- Experience in a similar role (QBE or fully qualified)
- Strong business acumen
- Strong IT skills
- Good communicator
