About the company
A hugely successful business in the Magherafelt area is seeking to add a driven and commercially astute Financial Controller to their senior management team as a result of continued success, and plans for further growth. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position offers unmatched potential for career progression as well as an autonomous role where the successful candidate will have full oversight of the day-to-day management of the finance function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts
- Managing cash flow
- Oversee a small finance team
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required
- Process improvement
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE accountant with experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent IT Skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
