They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join the team. As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and leading a dynamic finance team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial excellence within a fun and innovative company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Lead and mentor a talented finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the senior management team and board of directors.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize financial processes and systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, FCCA)
• Proven 3+ years experience as a Financial Controller or similar leadership role, ideally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a passion for developing and mentoring staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Analytical mindset and a track record of making data-driven financial decisions.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a fun and innovative work environment.
