About the job
Duties to include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, reporting to the Directors
- Manage and develop a small transactional finance team
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Drive a culture of process improvement across the finance function
- Liaise with commercial teams
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Managing Director
Your skills and experience
Essential
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
- Proven ability to manage and communicate effectively with all levels within the business
- Experience in leading a team
- Good organisational, planning and time management skills
- Team player with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude.
- Strong IT skills including Sage and Excel
