About the Job
- Monthly management accounts: Prepare Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Weekly financial and KPI reports: Prepare reports on Sales and Operating performance.
- Aid in audit preparation: Assist in organizing books and files for audit and declaration of VAT and payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with payment deadlines.
- Identify value-added opportunities: Identify areas for potential revenue and cost improvements.
- Income: Accurately record sales and analyze income metrics to drive actionable insights.
- Payroll: Generate reports to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement. Process payroll efficiently and ensure timely payment.
- Cash/Bank Control: Manage, forecast, and reconcile cash effectively.
- Accounts Receivable: Establish an effective system for recording, invoicing, and managing debtor balances. Proactively manage outstanding balances.
- Accounts Payable: Timely and accurate payment of creditors, including periodic reconciliation of creditor balances.
- Loss prevention: Conduct audits of key cost areas such as shipping, payroll, and asset management (fleet of trucks and trailers) to minimize losses.
Your skills & experience
- Qualified – CPA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc.
- 3+ years’ proven experience in an accountancy role.
