Job Opportunity: Senior Finance Analyst – Tech Infrastructure

Salary (for Part Qualified) – €40,000 – €55,000

Benefits: Health Insurance VHI, Pension, Bonus, WFH on a Friday

In this role, you will report to the Finance Director. You will be a key contributor to our team and have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle month-end deliverables, collaborating closely with shared service centres and accounting teams. This includes preparing monthly entries related to accruals, prepayments, and staff capitalization.
  • Manage monthly Infrastructure charge intercompany allocations.
  • Maintain regular communication with cost centre owners and functional expense owners to ensure accurate expense and headcount forecasting.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly forecasting, and assess risks and opportunities within your area of responsibility. Load quarterly forecasts, headcount, and Key Business Indicators (KBIs) into Essbase. Address ad-hoc Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) requests related to EMEA Infrastructure expenses.
  • Act as the Finance Business Partner for the Tech Infrastructure business.

Success Criteria:

  • Establish trust as a key business partner for the Tech Infrastructure business.
  • Make recommendations for tangible efficiency gains and cost reduction.
  • Ensure accuracy and predictability in financial reporting.
  • Ability to report on profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet, and project dimensions.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred recognized accounting qualification (Strong part-qualified candidates will be considered).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets from various sources.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, taking ownership of problems and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Build trust as a partner and advisor to the Senior Vice President and team.
  • Understanding of the impacts of balance sheet vs. P&L, forecasting depreciation, and reviewing Work in Progress on major projects.
  • Ability to interpret financial data for a non-financial business audience.
  • Proactive personality with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in managing large datasets and using data to explain variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • A hands-on approach to working.
