Regulatory Reporting Specialist

The Company:

Specialist Business Lender, which has grown to become one of Ireland’s leading Specialist Business Lenders. They provide SMEs immediate access to a range of financial products – Leasing, Hire Purchase, Refinancing, Invoice Discounting and Property Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this new role is to ensure regulatory reporting is delivered on time and in compliance with regulatory guidance.

• Manage the compilation of regulatory reports to review stage to strict reporting deadlines
• Assist in the development, and maintenance of proper controls, robust documentation, and change management approach for reporting submissions
• Work closely with the broader finance team to ensure financial reporting and decision support is consistent with regulatory submissions
• Support the design & delivery of new and ad-hoc regulatory reporting, engaging relevant stakeholders and Group functions as necessary, e.g., Risk, Finance, and Treasury functions.
• Stay current on new and evolving regulatory reporting requirements, assess impact and ensure compliance for accurate reporting
• Challenge reporting solutions and data sources and drive process improvement

Your Experience

• Part Qualified / Qualified accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years experience/background in regulatory reporting or financial accounting
• Experience of COREP, FINREP, or statistical reporting and familiarity with CRR, CRD IV and EBA guidelines, an advantage
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to relate to local cultural aspects and work in a highly diverse environment
• Proven track record in delivering to tight deadlines with attention to detail
