About the Job

Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll take ownership of financial management and day-to-day office administration, working closely with the Directors and department managers to provide financial insight and help drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheets and cashflow forecasts
• Manage VAT returns and liaise with external accountants on year-end accounts and audits
• Oversee sales and purchase ledger, including debtor management and payment runs
• Process weekly and monthly payroll, including pension submissions
• Review project profitability, margins and job costing
• Manage office administration, insurances and supplier contracts
• Implement financial controls and identify efficiency improvements

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ATI) or Qualified by Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience managing payroll
• Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a hands-on role
