The Company

A leading Irish manufacturer who is looking to set up a group finance function.

The Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating financial activities across multiple business units, ensuring robust financial controls, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead the group finance function, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.
• Oversee and manage group reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Lead the consolidation of financial statements across multiple business units.
• Develop and implement group controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Design and implement robust reporting structures to enhance financial transparency and decision-making.
• Review and analyse investment portfolios, providing strategic recommendations.
• Manage M&A reporting, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in group reporting and financial consolidation.
• Strong understanding of group controls and financial regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective reporting structures.
• Experience in reviewing and managing investment portfolios.
• Proficient in M&A reporting and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
