About the company
This role will involve overseeing and developing a finance team, reporting to the Finance Director. If you’re an ambitious accountant with experience in managing a team and seeking a long-term role with a progressive company, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and develop the finance team
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function
- Driving continuous improvement
- Cashflow management
- Tax compliance
- Liaising with relevant external stakeholders
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience of managing a team
- Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Construction experience is beneficial but not essential
