HIREIQ are delighted to be working with a well known local manufacturing company as they seek to appoint a Finance Manager to their expert team. This role reports into the Senior Management team and is recognised as being a highly important position for the company. This role will entail traditional accounting tasks alongside numerous projects as and when required. Excellent role for an experienced management accountant wishing to take the next step in their career.
About the job.
Key responsibilities of the role in Belfast will include:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts,
- Preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasting
- Variance analysis on manufacturing & production costs
- Identifying, suggesting and implementing fresh ideas that will add value on the project front i.e. reducing costs, improving processes and increasing profits company wide
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Prepare, analyze and report KPIs to the Management team.
- Analyse and maximise the financial performance of projects
- Liaising and working with senior management as required
- Assist in preparation for available grants and R&D tax claims
- Other duties required by the FD
Your Skills and Experience
- Qualified accountant, with at least 2 years post qualified experience
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Competent in Excel, Word and other computer packages – Netsuite
- Good communication skills, both written & verbal
