About the job.
Duties for this role include:
- Manage the monthly & period-end closure procedures
- Prepare the year-end financial statements – working with auditors
- To ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of recordings of all transactions
- Oversee credit control function
- Monitoring cash flows and working capital requirements.
- To control and authorise all journal postings to the ledger
- Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and producing monthly balance sheets.
- & train new staff
- Delegate and manage the workloads of direct reports
- Participate in the recruitment of new team members
Your skills and experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Strong team working & communication skills
- Strong IT skills
