About the company
HireIQ is working with a leading third-sector organisation based in the Cookstown area as they seek to appoint a Finance Manager. In this newly created position, you will work hand in hand with the CEO, overseeing the finance function and playing a key part in the senior management team. This highly attractive position is open to Qualified or QBE accountants, and can be offered on both a full-time or part-time basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly and year-end accounts
- Oversee a small finance team
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- KPI reporting
- Statutory returns
- Payroll
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)/or qualified by experience with experience in a similar role
- Strong IT Skills
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
