Your role: Finance Manager
- To lead and be part of a team who provides a comprehensive and effective management accounting service to the leadership team of an undisclosed industry.
- For this site and its associated transactions to ensure robust financial control, reliable performance measurement, and proactive decision-support for business improvement opportunities.
- To identify and implement improvements in the effectiveness of people, systems & processes, profit, working capital & cash, and financial control.
What you’ll need:
- Qualified accountant with excellent technical skills.
- Strong planning, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills, motivated to deliver a responsive, proactive service.
- Excellent and advanced spreadsheet and modelling skills.
- Be able to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
- Experience of relationship building with senior management.
- Able and confident to “take a view” while understanding the sensitivity of that situation.
- Capable of working on confidential and sensitive issues with the utmost discretion.
- Innovative, decisive, and resourceful in problem-solving.
- Able to command respect and influence at a senior level, debating with confidence and diplomacy.
- Be an effective team player.
- Effective communicator at all levels, taking account of the recipients’ financial knowledge and awareness.
- High degree of commercial aptitude and acumen.
- Experience with ERP systems.
