HireIQ Finance are partnering with a key client in the Co. Tyrone area to assist in the appointment of an ambitious candidate to take up the role of Finance Director. The successful candidate will head up the finance function, leading an established team and working closely with the Managing Director. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an operationally focused Finance Director to play a key part in the continued growth and expansion of this highly respected local business.
About the job
Duties to include:
- Managing the Company’s annual operating budget
- Providing financial advice and guidance to the management team
- Overseeing the timely and accurate preparation of the Company’s financial accounts.
- Leading, developing, and managing the Finance team
- Producing budgets, cash flow forecasts, capital expenditure reports, and other ad- hoc financial reports as required.
- Establishing and maintaining effective systems, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient financial management of the business
- Managing the relationship with external auditors and other external institutions
Your skills and experience
Essential
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) 5+ years post-qualified
- Proven leader with a commercial mindset
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and cope under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
