About the job.
- Conduct period-end activities for financial data accuracy:
- Perform manual journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure proper classification and validity of financials
- Prepare management reports for specific process specialties
- Standardize processes and reports across sites and business units
- Validate data accuracy in the general ledger and sub-ledgers:
- Perform ledger reconciliations
- Own procedures and methodologies for process specialities:
- Standardize calculations and methodologies
- Ensure comparability of definitions across sites
- Provide initial comments on actuals and identify budget variances
- Ensure correct accounting treatment for transactions
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting:
- Provide accurate historical data
- Standardize templates across sites and business units
- Monitor and evaluate business performance against targets
- Analyze financial reports and communicate key drivers to operational teams
- Participate in operational meetings and site management:
- Identify risks and opportunities for financial performance
Your skills and experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or International equivalent)
Skills:
