About the Role

This role is central to managing a significant client portfolio, driving business growth, and ensuring delivery of high-quality accounting, advisory, and outsourcing solutions. It offers excellent career progression opportunities, including a clear pathway to Partner level for the right candidate.

Services Provided by the Outsourcing Department

The Outsourcing team delivers a comprehensive suite of services to clients across multiple sectors, including:

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting: Bookkeeping, management accounts, and financial statements tailored to client needs.
  • Payroll Services: End-to-end payroll processing, compliance, reporting, and tax filings.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and strategic insights to enhance business performance.
  • Corporate Secretarial: Regulatory compliance, filings, board documentation, and statutory record maintenance.
  • Systems Implementation & Support: Advisory and implementation of accounting systems and technology solutions.
  • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO): Streamlining finance and back-office functions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • International Outsourcing: Cross-border outsourcing solutions for multi-national clients, including tax and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Lead a portfolio of key clients, ensuring top-quality service delivery on time and within budget.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities, manage tenders, and contribute to business-winning initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide technical guidance and ensure assignments meet the highest professional standards.
  • Performance Management: Oversee KPIs, ensuring departmental objectives are achieved.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to departmental strategy and support broader firmwide growth initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work with senior leadership across service lines to enhance client offerings and practice performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with significant PQE in practice, ideally from a top 10 environment.
  • Proven experience at the Director or Senior Manager level leading large client portfolios.
  • Strong technical expertise, including accounting, financial reporting, and advisory.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining trusted client relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and drive new business opportunities.
  • Advanced skills in report writing, Excel, and financial modelling.
