DEPUTY FINANCE MANAGER WANTED IN BELFAST – MOSTLY REMOTE OPPORTUNITY

We’re currently recruiting for a Deputy Finance Manager for a renowned public sector body based in Belfast. This is a unique opportunity offering a level of remote working and flexibility unrivalled in the market at the moment. The successful candidate will only be required to be in the office twice a MONTH.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring correct monthly invoicing within expected deadlines

• Maintenance of up-to-date service user records on internal bespoke system

• Assist Finance Manager in development of bespoke system as appropriate

• Responsible for debtor Management

• Preparation of Debtor Report for Senior Management

• Preparation and collection of Direct Debits from Service Users

• Calculation of charges for Service Users

• Income reconciliation

• Oversight and management of processing of cash to services ie petty cash and PPPA funds

• Assist Finance Manager in management of purchase ledger and nominal ledger as required

What do I need?

• IATI qualified or part qualified accountant

• At least 3 years experience in a finance function within a large organisation with multiple income streams and cost centres • Experience in balance sheet reconciliation and analysis work

• knowledge of accounting system, ideally SAGE Line 50
