About the Job
Assess Corporate & Business credit applications under your personal delegated lending authority. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm with flexibility on start/finish times.
Key Responsibilities
- Make credit decisions in relation to complex lending applications within a DLA, submitting applications outside your DLA, with your analysis and recommendation to the appropriate approval authority.
- Accept responsibility for a high level of Delegated Lending Authority.
- Ensure that all credit proposals are properly assessed with regard to, commercial strategy, credit policy, asset quality and risk management
- Advice to staff both within the Credit Team and across the Bank regarding the management of credit and lending issues, by developing awareness of credit policy/procedures
- Identify training needs, developing material, and facilitating the delivery of specific training to colleagues and / or 1st line relationship managers.
- Provide coaching and development to direct reports on financial, technical, commercial, and other issues in the context of continuous personal development across the C&B Credit team.
Previous experience
- Financial professional or experienced credit manager in Corporate Banking/Finance
- Have over 5 years experience in a related role
