About the Job
A leader in their specialised field, an innovative goods distributor is seeking to add a Credit controller to their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to secure a position in a company recognised across the island who is going through a period of sustained a member of the Accounts team, you will be primarily responsible for credit control, invoice processing and accountancy support. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am – 5.30pm with an early finish on Friday’s.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales ledger processing
- Credit Control.
- Assistance with the management of cash flow and reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Preparation of VAT returns & Intrastats.
- Ensuring the timely submission of all statutory returns.
- Assisting with month-end reporting/reconciliations.
- Handling bank lodgements.
Previous experience
- 2 years experience in an office environment carrying out similar duties
- Confident and proficient in Excel and experience with MS Office
- Ability to manage own workload
