This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional to take ownership of the credit control function, managing customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting cash flow within a fast-paced business.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience within a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
• Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Positive, proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience using Sage 200 or Credit Hound would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s credit control function and ensure customers adhere to agreed payment terms
• Issue customer invoices and statements
• Monitor customer credit limits and complete credit checks for new accounts
• Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger across multiple entities
• Chase outstanding payments and negotiate payment arrangements where required
• Resolve customer account queries in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare aged debt reports for management
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient resolution of account issues
• Assist with credit control administration and support continuous improvement of finance processes
