About the Job

The credit controller will be expected to carry out the following duties

  • Proactive debt management throughout the month to ensure their exposure is in line with credit limits and terms.
  • Providing risk assessments and credit checks for all new customers
  • Liaising with solicitors and sale staff to recover bad debts
  • Manage order release in line with company deadlines
  • Capturing and quickly actioning customer complaints
  •  Management of customer database

Your skills & experience 

  • Essential – Previous Credit Control Experience
  • The ability to work in team as well as individually
  • The ability to recognise potential risks to the company and react accordingly
  • Confident enough to make decisions on their own
  • Possess the ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Can work on own initiative
