About the potential next-step
HireIQ is delighted to be working alongside one of our key clients who are going through an exciting period of growth and are looking to add a credit controller to their finance team. You will be reporting directly into the Head of Finance and you will be responsible for overseeing the credit control function for a specific client base.
Key responsibilities:
> Consistently update the credit control register daily.
> Reach out to debtors with overdue payments via phone, letter, SMS, or email.
> Establish and sustain regular communication with debtors across the company’s premises.
> Work closely with debtors to create manageable repayment plans.
> Collaborate with Debt Recovery Agency to retrieve outstanding arrears.
> Direct debtors to solicitors when necessary, while maintaining detailed referral records.
> Maintain daily and weekly communication with the Finance Manager.
Your Experience:
> 2+ years experience in a credit control position.
> Professional approach.
> Excellent oral and written skills.
> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
> Be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
