Credit Controller

HireIQ are currently recruiting for a credit controller to join our Lisburn based Client. This role is for a major goods supplier company with interim and permanent contracts available. This would be an ideal role for an experienced credit controller ot someone with a good customer service background seeking to gain some experience in the finance industry with a reputable company.

Job Duties

• Performing customer credit checks and background review for potential new customers;
• Timely contact with customers to ensure balances are paid on time and in full;
• Responding to customer queries in a professional and prompt manner;
• Exercising judgement to determine when accounts need to be placed “on hold” due to non-payment;
• Overseeing daily cash allocations and postings
• Reconciling customer accounts;
• Other ad hoc responsibilities as required.

Your skills and experience

• Credit control experience in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Self-motivated with a positive outlook
