About the Company
A local reputable company in the wholesale and distribution sector, operating throughout the UK and Ireland are looking to add to their already established team an experienced credit controller due to an increase in demand in their products and services.
About the Job
The credit controller will be expected to carry out the following duties
- Proactive debt management throughout the month to ensure their exposure is in line with credit limits and terms.
- Providing risk assessments and credit checks for all new customers
- Liaising with solicitors and sale staff to recover bad debts
- Manage order release in line with company deadlines
- Capturing and quickly actioning customer complaints
- Management of customer database
Your skills & experience
- Essential – Previous Credit Control Experience (ideally in a large organization)
- The ability to work in team as well as individually
- The ability to recognise potential risks to the company and react accordingly
- Confident enough to make decisions on their own
- Possess the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Can work on own initiative
