Job Description.

The Credit Control applicant will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties...

-Setting up new customers in line with agreed guidelines
-Assisting with the smooth running of the Accounts Receivable Service to the business
-Assistance in producing daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
-Ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner
-Assisting Operational Departments with customer liaison in respect of debts, invoices and statements to customers
-Regular attendance at credit control meetings
-Maintaining outstanding credit from customers at agreed acceptable levels
-Working with customer to ensure that debt queries are resolved in a timely manner
-Assisting in the maintenance and improvement of the credit control processes and systems

We are working on behalf of our global client who is recruiting for a Credit Controller looking for the next step in their career, to join a thriving Credit Control Team . Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day duties within a busy credit control team.

About the Job

The Credit Control applicant will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties…

  • Setting up new customers in line with agreed guidelines
  • Assisting with the smooth running of the Accounts Receivable Service to the business

Experience, Skills and Attributes

  • Previous experience in a credit control position
  • Experience of dealing with a large customer base
  • The ability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Diligent, accurate and high-level attention to detail skills
