Reporting to the Credit Control Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day duties of running and directing a busy credit control team.
About the Job
The Credit Control Team Lead will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties…
- Managing a team of credit controllers
- Managing the cash collections process
- Producing credit reports for Credit Control Manager
- Point of escalation for customer/team queries
- Providing training and advice as and when required
- Conducting one-to-one/ Debt review meetings
- Working closely with other departments especially Sales and Customer service
- Compile and maintain the Bad Debt Provision
- Authorising credit notes prior to billing
- Posting of BACs, cheque & card payments to the system
- Setting and reviewing credit limits for new/existing customer accounts
- Review of E-Commerce payments and dealing with Queries.
Experience, Skills and Attributes
- 3 years + experience within a Credit Control department
- Previous experience in a credit control or senior credit control position
- Experience of dealing with a large customer base
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
