About the Job
HireIQ are exclusively working with an innovative and dynamic company as they seek to appoint an experienced company accountant to their finance team. As the Company Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial affairs of the company and ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Job Duties
Some specific duties may include:
Managing the company’s budget and financial planning
Preparing financial reports for management and stakeholders
Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintaining financial records and ensuring their accuracy
Managing payroll and employee benefits
Assisting with tax preparation and filing
Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls
Providing support for auditing and accounting functions
Ad-hoc duties as and when required
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should also be highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills will also be important as you will interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation on a daily basis.
