COMPANY ACCOUNTANT JOB – SOUTH BELFAST – £45,000 – £50,000

About the Job

HireIQ are exclusively working with an innovative and dynamic company as they seek to appoint an experienced company accountant to their finance team. The purpose of this role is to bring the finance function in-house for our client and help them develop and grow the company.

Job Duties 

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Producing accurate and timely management strict deadlines
• Develop the finance function – streamlining processes, reducing costs, increasing profits
• Collating, preparing, and interpreting reports, accounts, commentaries, and financial statements
• Undertaking strategic analysis and aiding with operational decision making
• Controlling and owning the budgeting process, company income & cashflow
• Developing and managing financial systems/models
• Manage relationships with external auditors and wider business partners (Invest NI)
• R&D submissions
• Ad-hoc finance duties

Your skills and experience

• Qualified accountant practice or industry trained (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
• Technically strong accountant coupled with communication skills
• SAGE experience (desirable)
• Ambitious, driven and dedicated finance professional
