About the company
HireIQ is partnering with a dynamic and growing business in the Omagh area who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their established finance team. The successful candidate will play a key part in the effective and efficient day-to-day management of the finance function, supporting the Finance Manager and assisting with the training and development of junior finance staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly and annual accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Mentoring junior finance staff
- Implementing process improvements across the finance function
- Variance analysis
- KPI reporting
- Statutory returns
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
