About the company

This role is newly created due to continued expansion, working closely with the FD to oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function, and being involved in some exciting projects. With a clear pathway for career progression, this is an ideal opportunity for any ambitious accountants.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of year-end accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Statutory returns
• Budgeting/forecasting
• Financial analysis
• Liaising with auditors
• Driving process improvement across the finance function
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with experience in a similar role
• Excellent IT skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
